The Network Behind the Name
One star doesn't make a constellation.
"Collective" isn't just a name — it's a goal. As requests come in for training and support that reach beyond any one person's expertise, we're building a network of co-navigators: each one a point of light, so that together, we chart a clearer path than any single star could alone.
Why a Collective
Guiding Star Collective started with one person's voice and story. But the requests that come in — for trainings, workshops, and consultations — don't always fit one person's path. Sometimes the best fit for a request is someone else's lived experience, someone else's specialty, someone else's way of holding a room.
Rather than stretch a request to fit, the goal is to build a growing bench of co-navigators — trusted presenters who share the same commitment to healing, advocacy, and accessibility, so that when a request is a better fit for them, it goes their way.
Who We're Looking For
A co-navigator brings their own expertise and their own voice — while sharing the same commitment to the people in the room. If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
Lived experience and professional expertise are both valued — we're looking for the right voice for the right room, not a single profile.
Trauma-informed care, DV/SA advocacy, interpreter rights and the ADA, intersectionality and Deaf culture, or related fields we haven't covered yet.
Whether it's a single training or a Constellations-style series, you know how to build trust and stay present with hard material.
Healing, advocacy, and accessibility aren't just topics — they're how you show up. That matters more than a polished resume.
